michael and i arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon in PHL. we had a horrible, turbulent flight from Rome to Paris, but our flight to Philly from Paris was just fine. we landed around 3:40pm and after customs, baggage and a teensy bit of confusion, we were well on our way home by 5pm. we had a fantastic trip, met a lot of great people, and took a LOT of pictures.

I am the first to follow the lovely Stephanie MiniBee!!!! A shout out to all and a big welcome home. It was hard to say goodbye - so I didn't! :-( I just bolted out of the bus and ran into the lounge at FCO. I had a great flight home but cried all the way...no sad...happy crying....imagine how lucky we all are to be able to travel and see the world and make new friends during times like these. How brave we all are!!!! Laughing and eating and drinking with passion and delight. Everyday a new and wonderful experience.
Spend not one moment being unhappy - it is a moment we will never get back to live in the sunlight and bask in the loving glow of the Universe!
I loved my time away with you all (maybe not all LOL) and will keep in touch!

We just got home Sat AM. Had a wonderful time in Rome last week, can't believe it's over. Really enjoyed meeting all ofyou, and let me thank everyone on the Ephesus trip for being so very patient during the GREAT RUG PURCHASE. You were all great. What a trip!
We had an exciting moment in Rome...following an awful downpour while doing the Caesar shuffle, we tried to get the metro to the hotel. Richard thought I got on a train, and followed, only to find himself alone, and not really knowing the system. I was really worried, but no choice but to head to the hotel, hoping. He figured it all out, including changing trains, and arrived 1o minutes after I did! Now to start working on the Venice trip for March! Thanks again to all, esp Cindi, for all your hard work. Sure miss our sailaways....send that list as soon as you recover. HAPPY HAPPY TO ALL.

Howdy! I can't believe it's over. All that anticipation and it's over already. My mom and I are so grateful to have met such a wonderful group of fellow travelers (for the most part; right Cindi?) I'm working on getting all my photos on the computer, most are not worthy of sharing but the ones that are I will get posted and let you know where to find them. Take care and be back soon. Jenn
